Epiphany's outreach & missionary support
As a Church Epiphany has from the very first service
supported missionaries. We love to reach out to the World with the Good
News of Jesus and are doing so in many places both domestically and in foreign
lands. Please read the stories of those we wholeheartedly support in
prayer and with our financial resources and pray for these wonderful
friends. If you feel inspired to give financially you can do so by making
a check out to Epiphany and just write a note explaining how you would like for
us to use it. As a Church family we are giving over $2,000.00 a month to
support these many ministries. Thanks be to God for the faithfulness of His
people.
Outreach and Support of Missionaries at Epiphany
We
are guided by the scriptures to love our neighbor as ourselves and to go and
make disciples…We are also always asking the questions…How is Jesus served in
this? And who among us will carry the vision with his/her passion?
It will be led by the Spirit of God and by at least one individual who
has a burning desire and commitment to see it happen.
The
Discretionary funds of the clergy
are mainly supported through contributions by Epiphany members. It is given away, mostly to Epiphany members,
for rent, electric bills, medical bills, etc. These funds are available to help
those in need among us and around us at the discretion of the clergy. Just write discretionary fund in the memo
section of your check. Epiphany also gives 1% of our total monthly
income to the Discretionary funds of the clergy which are available to help
those in need among us and around us.
Diocese of Rwanda……….Our Special Offerings are sent to Rwanda which
is our own diocese. We also give 10% of
our total income to the Anglican Mission
in America every year. So our total monthly giving is about 18 or 19% of
our total income.
We support various missionaries in the United States
as well as around the world. We also
support a number of outreach organizations in our local communities. Epiphany supports what these different people
and groups are doing to be Jesus “with skin on,” to spread the message of the
Gospel and to love and care for those in need or in trouble.
