The KHUSA mentoring relationship between Epiphany Anglican Fellowship and Twin Peaks Charter Academy in Longmont is led by Dennis and Nancy Bolitho, Epiphany members and KHUSA program directors.
More mentors are needed – nearly every week a staff member says to us, “Another teacher has a student they would like to refer to Kids Hope. Do you have any available mentors?” We are blessed in order to be a blessing to others. If God stirs your heart even a little, please talk to Dennis and Nancy about what is involved in being a mentor.
You can change a life……………………………and that’s no small change!

Each mentor has a prayer partner at Epiphany who volunteers to pray for each mentor/mentee relationship. Cindy Reinking is the Coordinator for Epiphany’s KHUSA Prayer Partners. Each month she sends out suggested scripture references and prayers for the month which she sends to all prayer partners. There is a topic for each month.
All KIDS HOPE USA mentors volunteer their time to nurture the heart of an at risk child. These loving, caring adults are all members of the congregation at the participating partner church, and each makes a commitment to devote an hour every week to their mentoring role. Mentors are carefully screened using a process that includes an application, a criminal history check, a personal interview and pastor approval. Mentors must also submit to screening requirements at the school. They are thoroughly trained by the program Director, using comprehensive materials provided by the KIDS HOPE USA National Office, and also attend an orientation session at the school. Ongoing supervision and support is provided to all volunteers by the program Director.
